For your comfort and relaxation we have individually sourced and imported from around the world the furniture at Tweedle Dee Cottage.

Complimentary high speed WiFi internet access is available throughout the cottage for use with your own laptop. The cottage is centrally heated (radiators and fully controllable by you) so it is lovely and cosy and warm.

We have provided two bicycles which you are welcome to use (at your own risk) to explore the area.

We brought this genuine US Mail Box back with us from a trip to Florida so that your well deserved lie in is not disturbed by the postman.

This spacious fabulously romantic room boasts:

• Hand carved, very comfortable, kingsize 4 poster bed;
• Lovely quaility mattress with memory foam mattress topper;
• Fine quality linen;
• Feather duvet & pillows (synthetic available for allergy sufferers);
• Touch bedside lights (no fumbling for a tiny switch);
• Clock radio with iPod docking station;
• Original fireplace (feature) and
• Two seater leather sofa (see below) which we imported from Paris.

For your comfort we offer a choice of two weights of feather duvets and synthetic duvet and pillows for allergy sufferers (please advise us at the time of booking).

These fabulous bedroom curtains were handmade by Robert's mother, a retired Court Dressmaker and are luxuriously lined and inter-lined.

Bedroom sofa: we searched high and low for this perfect two seater sofa for the bedroom and we were delighted when we eventually found it in Paris. It fits perfectly and the quality of the leather is fabulous. Then we found the perfect cushions for it.

Relax in the beamed sitting room which has:

• large squashy leather corner sofa (actually dark brown);
• original range (feature);
• surround sound DVD/CD player;
• a selection of over 100 popular DVD's to watch and 
• original stone staircase (please take care).  

The dining table & chairs have now been upgraded, please see the photograph below.

The well equipped kitchen / diner with:

• microwave,
• dishwasher,
• fridge;
• gas oven & hob;
• original stone sink (feature);
• Denby crockery;
• Dualit appliances;
• tea towels;
• dining for four and
• access to the secluded rear garden.

These comfortable dining chairs (which we imported from Paris) and granite topped table give a feel of luxury to dining.

The large upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath is well stocked with fluffy towels. We have recently installed tiny LED night time lights in the skirting which are movement activated.

The cottage has a secluded fully walled rear garden which is ideal for pets and if you want to bring your bicycles as there is a lockable (from the inside) tall gate from the street. We do, however, provide two bicycles which you are welcome to use (at your own risk) if you prefer.

The garden was steeply terraced and we had a couple of comments from our guests that although it was lovely, it was a shame that it wasn't more useable; so we excavated out over 200 tonnes of soil.

The photograph below was taken when the works were half completed. The garden is now finished (twice the size as shown below) and extends to the left of the picture, directly in front of the kitchen.

The private car parking land is located opposite Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Cottages and to the rear of Thimble Cottage.

There is one allocated car parking space per cottage.
