This beautiful solid oak front door was hand made by a local carpenter and being unable to find exactly what we wanted in the UK we sourced the door handle during a trip to France. We brought the US Mail Box back with us from Florida so that your rest and relaxation is not disturbed by the Postman.

This very romantic room boasts:

• original cast iron fireplace (feature);
• lovely Italian leather chaise ottoman;
• feather duvet & pillows (synthetic available for allergy sufferers);
• fine linen and
• touch control bedside lamps.

For your comfort we offer two weights of feather duvets and synthetic duvet and pillows for allergy sufferers - please advise at the time of booking.

For your convenience we have installed touch lamps in the bedrooms at all 3 of our cottages so you will not be fumbling around for a tiny switch in the middle of the night. They work on a 3 stage dimmer system.

Relax on the large squashy leather sofa and select a DVD (from a choice of around 70) to watch on the surround sound DVD / CD player.

The well equipped kitchen / diner with microwave, dishwasher and dining for two. As you can see from the photo we believe in quality appliances and the kettle and toaster are both Duallit. From the kitchen is the back garden with teak table and chairs and 2 bicycles which you are welcome to use to explore the area (at your own risk).

This fabulous designer bathroom has underfloor heating, heated towel rail, shower and large comfortable double ended bath.

This spacious bathroom is well stocked with fluffy towels.

The secluded rear garden is walled on all sides and there are two bicycles which you are welcome to use at your own risk.

The private car parking land is located opposite Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum Cottages and to the rear of Thimble Cottage.
